“There’s a tremendous amount of work that goes into collecting the wide range of household items that are required to support these families who are in need of assistance to start over.
“The Christmas Appeal is so that SOS can provide these families with not only the day-to-day necessities, but a special Christmas Day in their new home.” Said Colette.

“Realmark has also warmly welcomed generosity from locals. An ex Floreat teacher selflessly donated a monetary contribution as she was unable to drive to buy a toy. She wanted to see the money go towards a toy that will help the mind development for kids aged between 3-6. She said this is the most critical time where kids develop the traits to become future adults – she’d hoped to make a little difference in someone else’s life which is truly heart-warming.
“The drive ran for several weeks and saw hundreds of toys being donated to the cause, which will go a long way in lighting up the Christmas of those who are experiencing extremely unfortunate circumstances. The Christmas Appeal was so successful, we have decided to extend the drive as there was still a high demand from people looking to contribute.
Realmark True Blue has extended this year’s Christmas Appeal to the 8 December 2019 and invites anyone who would like to donate a toy to a child in need this Christmas to get involved.
